All rivercane & bamboo flutes are personally handcrafted by Hawk Hurst, who brings over three decades of experience to creating your flute. Each flute is fire hardened, creating a unique decorative pattern on the exterior. Some flutes come out in patterns of light brown, flat black, or mottled designs. If you have a preferred design, please be sure to e-mail, after your purchase, to let me know. If I am able to accommodate your request, I am happy to do so! If your flute suffers a crack or lost ‘bird’ (block) I am happy to talk you through repairing your flute, and or replacing your flute, in the case of a material defect.
